Hello from Surfers Paradise!!

WOW, WOW, WOW what a FANTASTIC time we are having so far!! We have been to Australia Zoo- what a great family place! We arrived just as it was about to open and stayed until closing time! Everything was so family orientated. The staff were excellent- all so willing to chat and let the kids interact with the animals. Do you remember Fatso (from A Country Practise) - we met her daughter. There were actually nine wombats that played Fatso over the years. The croc show was great. Wes did the show that we saw and he was fantastic! EVERYTHING about Australia Zoo was about Steve and for me, I felt a tinge of sadness knowing that Steve isn't with us any more.

We have been to Sea World as well. The dolphin show was something else- sensational! I took heaps of photos. We took the girls on some of the rides- but some we didn't let them go on- but Adam and I went on! Woooo hoooo, the 'Corkscrew'- what a buzz. My head is still spinning! LOL!!! All the animals were gorgeous but I think I loved the polar bears the best! Lots more photos!

Today we are having a recharging day. Sarah is not feeling 100% so we are just staying around Surfers Paradise! We have been to these great markets and are now looking at going on an 'Aquaduck'. I think the Wax Museum is on our list today too!

Tonight, there are fireworks on the beach, which we will be able to see from our apartments but we may walk down to the beach as the atmosphere is just so 'alive'. The beach cinema is on too.

Anyway- have a fantastic night tonight, what ever you are doing and I will see you in 2007!!!

One more sleep..

One more sleep until we take off on our holiday and I'm madly cleaning, washing and packing! Boy will I be glad to get on that plane!
I still have to go to the shops (aaarrrrgggghhh) , drop off Chloe (our dog) to her dog sitters, drop off one more Christmas pressie (to my wonderful Aunty Lorraine) and Sarah still has a game of basketball tonight! I have FOUR loads of washing on the line which will need to be bought in, sorted and put away (NO WAY am I ironing any thing unless it is going in our suitcase!) I have vacuumed but I still have to wash the floors, empty bins etc! Do you sound tired reading this??? LOL!!!

Off to wash floors now- joy oh joy!

Buttons and Bows.

Here is my LO I completed with the talented Jen Hall yesterday.

December is here already! Our tree is up, school is over and I'm just moving into 'relax' mode!! Except for basketball, all mine and the kids sporting things are over for the year!!! YAY!!

Yesterday- I didn't leave the house- how nice was that!! Sarah stayed in her pj's ALL day! Emma got herself dressed, then redressed in another dress up outfit, then redressed in another .... you get the picture!!!

Last week, the amazing Kim Archer ran her

Christmas Extravaganza. I LOVED

it!! I have only completed two of her projects so far but loved all of them. Here is one that I did. It is a 2007 dairy that I altered for a Secret Santa swap- lucky Kylie.

Yesterday I completed Jen Hall's Buttons and Bows online class. It was awesome. Jen is such a sweetie. Congratulations Jen - on becoming a SM Master- you deserve it!!! Grrr, Blogger won't let me upload the LO I complete with Jen- I will try later!

Thanks for dropping in, Janine xx
